Your thoughts and emotions play a huge role, not only in your daily life but also in your progress in your chosen sport.
Self-limiting beliefs can sabotage the performance of even top sportspeople. Caught up in the vicious circle of a lack of self-confidence and a lack of progress, you begin to lose heart altogether.
The BeMe Approach in Sport puts you back on track. A new understanding of the often deep, underlying thoughts and feelings impacting on your performance will help you to restore your self-confidence, both in your sport and in every other area of your life.
Sporting success, whether with a national sports team or at a local club level, is the reflection of hundreds of hours of work, careful eating and drinking, and psychology.
Team and individual psychology is of interest because of its various applications in other aspects of life. The effort and focus that go into being successful at sport can predict success in other areas of life. A recent study in the field of sports psychology indicates that, in athletic activities, the process is more important than the end product (McGill Reporter, 2016).
