What is the Psychological Education & Ambassador Programme (PEAP)?

PEAP is a licenced Psychological Education & Ambassador Programme for primary schools in the UK.

It has been developed by a Psychological Therapist and nurse with over 30 years’ experience and an adult with lived experience of significant childhood mental health difficulties.

The Heads Up Licenced Psychological Education & Ambassador Programme, or PEAP provides schools with highly unique tools and actual human support (not via digital programmes or FAQ pages) to teach emotional literacy and mental health resilience within primary schools.

An annual plan will provide each school with a unique 2-fold programme:

    1. Provision of unique, age appropriate and evidence-based teaching tools and methods to support the development of emotional literacy from an early age.
    2. The provision of the skills and tools to choose and train pupil ambassadors to empowering a team of children or young people to become leaders of wellbeing and mental health initiatives for their peers.
    3. The option to purchase extra tools and equipment that can be used by the wider school.
